Headset looks and feels great. These are basically the Ear Force Z6A pc headphones with mw3 theme. I just wanted to make sure any future buyers that plan on using for xbox360 understand that you have to go to turtlebeach.com and buy their xbox cable kit for 20 + shipping in addition to the cost of the headphones. I was really wanting to use these today and being that amazon does not sell the cables or the kit, I have to wait for turtle beach to process and ship which could be 7 more days. Will add more to this review once I get to actually use them.
Edit: Cable kit through turtle beach is on back order. Going to return.

I got the Z6A's hoping to find a decent replacement headset for my PX21's (because they break ALL THE TIME), and was sadly let down by them. :<
Something I care ALOT about as a PC gamer, is the quality of my music playback while im gaming (especially in Starcraft). My 1000 song playlist is running all the time in my games, which helps to give me that extra focus I need to be as good as I am.
The PX21/DPX21 setup offers a quality of music playback that can only really be found in THX quality sound systems these days (which I also own), and imo, can't be beat by any other headset or headphone or earbud setup that costs under $200 atm.
Due to this, I've endured their HORRIBLE build quality and relentless breaking (I've been through 5 pairs of PX21's now in under a year) so that I could get the quality of music playback I needed in my gaming.
However, when I saw that TB was releasing a new headset (the Z6A) back in july, I was very excited to see if they were going to take that technology that made the PX21 so special, and use it to make a really amazing PC specific gaming headset. I hounded TB almost daily to find out if there was a set release date for it or not yet, talking to various sales reps and having long conversations about the quality of the Z6A's and such, and being told that they would be just as good (if not better) then the PX21's were.
But now that I finally have my pair, I find myself seriously let down by them. :< Sure, they have decent bass response, but so did the Tritton pro's (trittons 5.1 headset). Much like the Trittons tho, that's all they have. Their ability to play music is very similar to a pair of $15 walmart earbuds, making every song sound like it's trying to back in time to become a midi file again. :/
So yeah, im pretty upset with them atm, since they look cheap, feel cheap, and perform as badly as they look and feel. I'll be setting up the RMA for them in just a few mintues, and just get another pair of PX21's instead, which will inevitably break, but will refresh their warrenty so I can keep RMAing them when they break.
I'm just gonna have to keep doing this I guess until I either feel like stepping up to astros/sennheiser's, or until TB makes another golden child that DOESN'T BREAK ALL THE TIME
